Hi and Welcome to the OSO Family..
My name is Shaniz Young and I am a stay at home mum, living here in beautiful New Zealand. I have dedicated the past couple of years to learning about making natural skincare that is safe for the whole family to use. I started this journey as a personal one, wanting to learn to make products that i could use on my baby's skin without having any doubts about any of the ingredients in the product. I then decided that I could use the skills I had developed, to try and create a career for myself, doing what I absolutely love to do. This is my passion and this is my dream. And I would love for you to stick with us as we grow and learn more and release new products.
Why choose Old School Organics?

At OSO we are a family run business. We make it our mission to use ingredients that are ethical and organic and sourced locally in New Zealand. We love being able to support other NZ businesses. Our products contain no parabens, synthetics, SLS, carcinogens, neurotoxins, petroleum, lead or artificial colourants. Our products also don't contain any water. You may find that you have tried many dry skin/ healing lotions and seen little to no difference or improvement. This is usually because most commercial products use "fillers" like water in their creams. The water dilutes the cream making it an ineffective barrier for damaged skin. And also creates an environment for micro-organisms to grow if preservatives are not used. At OSO we don't use any fillers or synthetic ingredients. We are chemical, paraben, and cruelty free. We use plant based preservatives like Vitamin E, which enhance the skin protection and healing benefits of our lotions. The containers we use are Recyclable and we are always on the look out for a more natural option. And are always in the kitchen experimenting with new products. Our goal is to help provide other families with a natural alternative to their everyday products at an affordable rate. We have big plans for the future of OSO and we'd love to have you follow us along the way as we grow and learn.
